Eleuthera

Considered by many to be one of the most enjoyable destinations in The Bahamas, Eleuthera is notable for its miles of unspoiled beaches and romantic seaside grottos. Surfing, excellent diving and water sports are very popular. So are the famously sweet Eleutheran pineapples. Indeed the pineapple is king in Eleuthera, inspiring a festival in June and even a triathlon. Make that a pineathalon, held during the June Eleuthera Pineapple Festival.
