| More
and more couples are traveling to The Bahamas for the wedding
of their dreams. Arrangements are simple to make but the
experience is nothing short of spectacular.
Marriage
licenses can be issued in hours once both parties have met
a 24-hour residency requirement. No blood tests are needed
but you will be required to adhere to application guidelines
listed below when applying for a license.
Planning
your ceremony and celebration is also easy: Many of our
hotels and resorts – as well as local bridal consultants
– offer packages that include flowers, cake, champagne,
food, music and photographer, as well as the official who
will preside over the ceremony.
Choice
of setting is only limited by your imagination. Say your
vows on a beach under swaying palms or in a gazebo in a
moonlit garden. Share the moment with a dolphin or other
creatures of the sea. Everything is possible in The Bahamas.
