Both parties must be in The Commonwealth of The Bahamas 24 hours prior to application and produce evidence of your date of arrival (airline tickets, immigration card) 3. Anyone under the age of 18 must have written parental consent 4. Divorced persons must have the original final decree or certified copy with a raised seal 5. Widowed persons must bring death certificate of former spouse 6. If either party is unmarried, a declaration certifying this fact must be sworn before a Notary Public or other person authorized to administer oaths in The Bahamas (or at the U.S. Consul at the American Embassy for U.S. citizens).
